I took my truck there to have the transmission rebuilt, and it was hands-down, unequivocally the worst experience I have ever had anywhere, as a consumer for anything! I made the mistake of using them before reading reviews, so please make sure you also read their Yelp reviews, where the only reason they have 1 star is because that is the lowest rating Yelp will let you leave. I was told up front that it would cost $1,800 in advance for the labor for the entire job, and that the parts usually costs between $600-$800, that they would know an exact number after they tear it down. This was the only reason I even signed the authorization, which Kelly (the girl at the front desk) aggressively called me urging me to hurry up and sign. I was going to buy a rebuilt transmission on line, and install it myself, because they were for sale everywhere for $2,500-$3,000 with a 5-7 year warranty. But after hearing the price Kelly told me, I figured I’d save myself some work. After I gave them the $1,800 and signed the authorization, they disassembled my transmission into about 50 pieces, and Mark (I’m guessing he’s the owner) called me, telling me they needed another $4,300 to finish the job….on

I was very pleased with the service I received, and the shop Forman, Mark was excellent to work with. He explained everything thoroughly, before the work was done and further communication during the process was top notch. My 32 year old Dodge Van never drove better. Thanks for an excellent job. Took my daughter's 2017 Ford Escape in when the transmission went out just 5 days after she purchased it and the warranty company denied it. I am beyond impressed on how honest they were, explained everything, and worked with me on cost/financing. Which is huge for a single mom trying to make ends meet. I have never dealt with a mechanic or company that I can trust or has your best interest at heart and really care for your well being. They have done an amazing job and I will be going back to them in the future! Highly recommend! Thank you Alltech.
